The Science of Sleep

I don’t think it’s too much to want to be able to get six or more hours of sleep everyday.

People think it’s crazy to want to sleep in the middle of the day. Is it really?  It gives me a minor recharge and I’m almost never cranky.

Because the train is packed by the time it reaches Tampines, one of the rare pleasures for me is to be able to sleep on the MRT. What I do is I plug in my earphones (usually I’m listening to Cilvaringz The Mental Chamberz album, it’s instrumental and highly repetitive, which helps lull me to sleep) and lean back, and I manage to get a good 20 minutes or so of extra sleep time.

Buses are far more conducive to sleep though, I feel.

I love to nap. They should call me Cap’n Nap’n.

Peace.
